random package.

- A Directv box randomly showed up on our doorstep.

- It was one of those boxes that people send you so you can put a pre-paid sticker on it to return stuff to the company.

- It was addressed to the people who lived here before us.

- They don't live here anymore.

- I don't know what to do about the box. What if it has multiple hundred dollar bills in it?

- I know what I should do with it, take it back to fed-ex and do a return to sender/these people don't live here anymore thing.

- I am choosing the path of least resistance. Which seems to be just letting it sit by our door in the living room.

- These sort of reminds me of the movie "Castaway" except with much more drama. And no volleyball.

running

- Good news folks, Ive decided that I have gotten fat enough. I was unsure up until about last week. I tried on a shirt that I wore for one acts in high school that used to be my "lose army shirt."

- This shirt was no longer as such. It was tight. Rebecca who is the always reaffirming awesome wife said its because my shoulders must have gotten broader. This is true, but not the whole truth.

- With this new found revelation of fatness I have decided to start up a more consistent exercise routine. Which is basically running just under a mile 5 days a week.

- I could kill myself and run longer distances, but I wouldn't run very well(lots of stopping and restarting), and if the running is an unpleasureable experience, I wont do it very often.

- So if the mile path I have paved for another week, I will bump it up to 2 miles. My goal is to lose weight, feel fit, not hurt my shins (this is a big one, ive had major issues with shin splints in the past), and to get a tan.

Do any of you have any running strategies?

Birthday and burger king

It was my birthday Yesterday.

- Birthdays get weirder and weirder.

- Next year Ill be able to rent a car without paying a ton of money.

- Saw anberlin. They were good.

- Tried to find Mr. Goodcents in hastings. Apparently after driving around for half an hour of where the map said it should be, we found out it closed.

- We went to Burger King instead. They still don't have a spicy tendercrisp. They are on the outs with me until they bring it back.

- When they bring it back, either as a Firecracker, or even just carry packets of chipotle sauce. I think I will personally boycott the company.

april fools day

- Ive heard of some good april fools day pranks lately.

- On tuesday morning a student from youth group called me.

- He seemed panicky. He told me his younger brother had gotten in a 4 wheeler accident. He said his brothers legs were crushed and he wondered if I would go with him to visit his brother after school.

- I of course said "yes." I then asked what room he was in so I could visit him that morning.

- He told me to go up to the front desk and that they would say to me: " April Fools!"

- Another one.

- Last night at greek class, a guy told a story that was better than that.

- A pregnant lady and her husband were in wal mart. Another lady comes up to her and asks her to take a birth control test for her. This new lady was non-pregnant. Which is why she enlisted the help of the pregnant lady.

- Her husband was in for a very shocking april fools day.
